2. Workplace Policies
The long-term success of our business depends on the knowledge, skills, talent and
particularly the motivation of our employees. As our business grows we need people
that we can rely on and delegate to, so that we can strengthen the business. We strive
to be an employer of choice and to attract motivated and committed staff.
We actively encourage our employees to develop real skills and long-term careers via
a performance appraisal process and an in house training plan.
We ensure adequate steps are taken against all forms of discrimination, both in the
workplace and at the time of recruitment (e.g. against women, ethnic groups, disabled
people, etc.) Structures have been developed to ensure consultation with employees on important issues. We have daily meetings on work flow and two monthly meetings one for management only to discuss company performance and the other for management to
interface with staff and allow them a forum to air their concerns.
We offer our staff an option to join Health Group scheme where they can avail of a
10% discount. We also offer a Pension Scheme to which the Company will contribute
10% to staff members who join the scheme.
TICo is committed to a Health and Safety at Work Environmental Policy. Our Safety
Policy is set out in our Company Safety Statement and its implementation is overseen
by a fulltime Health and Safety Manager.
TICo actively offers a good work-life balance to its employees. This is evident in the
amount of staff choosing a flexible working hour regime and also the increase in full
time ‘part time’ workers as some workers with children need to balance their time at
home during a certain period in their career. |
